Zane R. Fletcher

Daleville...Zane R. Fletcher, resident of Daleville, passed away Tuesday afternoon at his home.He was born near Yorktown, May 8, 1923, the son of Lewis E. and Mary Della Stone Fletcher.He retired from New Venture Gear in Muncie working in the Gear Lab for over 27 years.He was a US Army Air Corps Veteran of WW 2 receiving the bronze star.He had attended the Yorktown Christian Church and the Daleville United Methodist Church.He was a member of the u.a.w. Sympathy Club 449.Survivors include his wife of over 60 years: Ima (Rinker) Fletcher of Daleville, 2 sons: Cary Fletcher (Diane) of Rochester, MI and Rickie D. Fletcher of Caldwell, Tx, 2 grandchildren: Adam Fletcher of Pontiac, MI and Karen Fletcher of Rochester, MI, great grandchildren: Logan Wyle Fletcher and Keegan Zane Fletcher of Rochester, MI.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville, IN. with Rev.
