Wilson Marshall Smith

Middletown...Wilson Marshall Smith, 90, resident of Middletown, died July 10, 2003 at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.He was born in Jefferson County, July 8, 1913, the son of John S. and Martha ""Daisy"" Stewart Smith. He was a 1931 graduate of North Madison High School and retired from Delco Remy in Anderson in 1974 after 28 years in the Crib Room.He moved to Middletown in 1955 and was a member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene since 1956. He was also a member of UAW Local 662.Survivors are his sons: David Jean (Carolyn) Smith of Billingham, WA, Samuel H. Smith of Mt. Dora, FL and Errol Wayne (Linda) Smith of Anderson, 1 brother: Leslie D. Smith of Anderson, 2 sisters: Dorothy O'bryant of Anderson and Colleen Dennis of Texas, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Middletown church of the Nazarene with Dr. Philip C. Rogers and Rev. David Whitteberry officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park.Friends may call on Tuesday from 5-7 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.
