Daleville...Wilmer B. Bronnenberg, 83, resident of the Daleville area, died early Monday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie after an extended illness.He was an active farmer and worked an extensive dairy farm as well as working with horses and ponies and other farm animals. The love of his life was his family and the farm. He also drove a school bus for the Daleville Schools for over 30 years.He was a 1938 graduate of Daleville High School and attended the Daleville United Methodist Church.Survivors include his wife of over 61 years: Enid (Grove) of Daleville, his mother: Hazel Bronnenberg of Yorktown, 2 sons: Dan (Fiance; Nancy) Bronnenberg of Daleville and John (Rhonda) Bronnenberg of Yorktown, 1 sister: Margaret (Garland) Rix of Greenwood, several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a cousin, who grew up with Wilmer: Bob (Lois) Bronnenberg of Yorktown. Several nieces an nephews.He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 6 sisters.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville, with Pastor Karen Ottjes officiating.Burial will follow in Bronnenberg Cemetery in Chesterfield.Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.Online Guestbook is available at:
