Wilma Ruth Stinson

Middletown...Wilma Ruth Stinson, 89, longtime resident of Anderson, passed away June 26, 2009 at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.She was born in Madison County, IN, August 21, 1919 the daughter of Quincy and Pearl May Saunders Hodson.She was a 1937 graduate of Anderson High School.She had lived most of her life in Anderson, and had been a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years: James Stinson, 3 brothers: Russell, Clarence, and Elton Hodson, 2 sisters: Dorothy Ratz and Helen Holland.Survivors include her son: James (Berniece) Stinson of Daleville, 2 grandchildren: Ronald (April) Stinson of Pendleton and April (Wallace) Anderson of Edwardsville, Ill, 6 grreat grandchildren: Erica, Shelby and Samantha Stinson and Megan, Gregory, and Danielle Anderson.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.Burial will follow at Mt.
