Wilma Ruth Helsley

Middletown...Wilma Ruth (Conklin) Helsley, 87, resident of Middletown, passed away Tuesday afternoon at St. Vincent Anderson REgional Hospital.She was born in Frankton, IN, September 22, 1926, the daughter of Glenn and Martha Lawson Conklin.She was a 1944 graduate of Middletown High School and retired from Delco Remy in 1977 after 30 years of services.Survivors include one son: Ron Helsley (Yong Min) of Middletown and 3 nephews: Donnie Pate (Georgette) of Anderson, Jerry Pate (Sheryl) of Middletown and Randy Pate (Helen) of Lafayette, granddaughter: Teresa Helsley of Indianapolis, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband: Ronald (Reece) Helsley, 1 brother: Don Conklin and 1 sister: Phyllis Pate.Celebration services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the time of the services.Memorials may be made to the Middletown EMS, Box 1, Middletown, IN 47356Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com and Facebook/Ballard and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Wilma Ruth Helsley with family and friends.
