William David Reed

Alexandria...William David Reed, 28, resident of Alexandria, passed away unexpectedly at his resident on Tuesday.He was born in Anderson, October 21, 1974, the son of Michael and Nancy Ann Surface Reed.He was a veteran of the US Navy serving in Saudi Arabia and also served on the Nuclear Submarine USS Pittsburgh. He was a 1993 graduate of Daleville High School and was employed by McIntyre Concrete of Daleville. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0777 of Indianapolis.Survivors include his parents: Michael and Nancy Reed of Daleville, 1 brother: bobby (Missy) Reed of Anderson and 1 sister: Teresa (Eric) Ellison of Middletown, nieces and nephews: Kyla, Samantha, and Ryan Reed of Anderson, IN and Shelby and Carlie Ellison of Middletown, grandparents: Rosemary Surface of Anderson and Bill and Laura Reed of Albany, GA, several aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by grandfather: Robert Surface and a cousin: Brandon Reed.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Rev.
