William Leroy Lankford

Shirley...William Leroy Lankford, age 66, completed his calling on the Earth on June 26, 2021 at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle.
He was born in Washington, Indiana March 11, 1955, the son of Leroy and Norma Lankford.
He chose Jesus as Lord and Savior of his life at the age of 33. He loved people and affected the lives of many around him as God expanded his territory.
He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service and was a graduate of Shenandoah High School.
Those left to continue his legacy are his wife of 46 years, Sheila Ireton Lankford, daughter, Nicole Howerton (Justin) and his son Joshua Lankford (Melissa), grandchildren: Caleb, Olivia, Isaac, and Liam Howerton and Andrew and Jocelyn Lankford.
He is survived by his brother Dennis Lankford (Cheri), sisters Sandy Steadman and Penny Helsley (Jeff)., his brother-in-law Mick Ireton (Carla) and sisters-in-law Cathy Reynolds (Tim) and Amy Rose (David)., several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at Christ Fellowship Church, 4833 State Road 109, Knightstown, Indiana with Mike Jessup officiating. Burial will follow at Hedrick Family Cemetery in Harrison Township. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday June 29, 2021 from 3-7 PM.
Memorials may be made to the Harvest Evangelical Association.
