Middletown...William (Bill) Dean Jenkins, 67, resident of Middletown, died Tuesday morning at St. Vincents Hospital in Indianapolis, after a brief illness.He was born in Henry County, December 11, 1935, the son of Herbert and Goldie Bunker Jenkins.He retired in 1991 from Delco Remy of Anderson after 37 years of employment. He lived in Middletown for over 20 years moving from Anderson.He was a member of the American Legion of Middletown and was an avid Nascar fan.Survivors include one son: Darrell Jenkins (Fiance': Shiloh Rieskamp) of Middletown, 2 daughters: Debbie Haynes and Delain Danforth of Middletown, four grandchildren: Shaina Jenkins, Daniel and Brittany Hanson, and Dillon Haynes of Middletown, 2 step children: Kathy (Rick) Beam of Greenville, Ohio and David (Pam) Furlong of Greenville, Ohio, 4 step grandchildren: Jacob Furlong, Jeremy and Matt Netzley and Brian Beam, all of Greenville, Step great grandchildren: Brooke, Tyler, Renae, Jenna Netzley, all of Greenville.He was preceded in death by two wives: Deloris Thomas Jenkins in 1981 and Judy Jenkins, 1 son-in-law: Jim Danforth, several brothers and sisters, 1 grandchild: Sherstin Marie Hanson in 1988.Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev. Tim Rassmussen officiating.Burial will follow at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 PM and 1 hour before the service on Friday.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.Online Guestbook available at:
