Anderson...William F. ""Dub"" Breeden, 87, former Middletown resident, passed away Sunday evening at Bethany Point Convalescent Campus in Anderson.He was born in Science Hill, KY, October 26, 1921, the son of William F. and Ethel Ladore Line Breeden.He had owned and operated the E. & W. Market in Middletown for 16 years and the Chatterbox restaurant. He was active in rental properties in the area and was a 51 year member of the Middletown Lions Club.He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson and was a tireless church worker.He was a Veteran of WW 2 serving in the Pacific Theatre in the US Army.He was preceded in death by his wife: Lee (Olivia) Breeden in 2000.Survivors include two sons: Edmund (Deborah) Breeden of Anderson and Michael (Karen) Breeden of Celina, Ohio, two daughters: Susan Troyer and Margie Breeden of Middlebury, IN, 12 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, 1 sister: Ruth (Bob) Jones of Hobe Sound, FL and good friend: Mary Tolle.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 3:00 at the First Baptist Church in Anderson with Re. Arthur Jaggard officiating.Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemtery.Friends may call at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.Memorials may be made to the Brown Indian Baptist Church, Lions Eye Bank, or the First Baptist Church of Anderson, through the funeral home.
