William “Bill” Groce

William (Bill) Groce passed away peacefully at his home on March 1, 2025 after an extended illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Bill retired from GM after 32 years and enjoyed a busy home life with his wife Pamela. He was a loving Dad and Grandpa, he truly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bill was an avid bowler and loved listening to music. His brother Larry was a guitarist; Bill loved to introduce people to Larry's music. Bill never met a stranger, he loved making people laugh, and he will be greatly missed.

Bill is survived by his loving wife; Pamela Groce, brother, Jesse Groce, sons, Rodney (Trina) Shanahan, Greg (Heather) Shanahan, daughter, Nikki Shanahan (Jarmell Graves), twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one nephew, and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Hunter H. and Wanda Jean Groce, brothers, Larry and David Groce, son, Brian Paul Shanahan and daughter, Melanie Shanahan.
