Willard D. Cheatham

Daleville.....Willard D. Cheatham, 84, resident of Daleville, passed away Sunday at his residence. He was born in Burksville, KY, April 24, 1934, the son of Willie and Nora Walker Cheatham.
He was a graduate of Daleville High School and received his BA from Ball State University and his MA from Indiana University. He taught Industrial Arts at Yorktown High School for 32 years.
He married Mary Lou Kendall on October14, 1960 and had two children, Douglas Alan and Lisa Dawn. He loved golfing, hunting and fishing and loved his family and long time friends.
He will be missed by his daughter Lisa (Josh) Harmon and grandchildren: Conner Harmon, Haley (Caleb) Campbell and Marshall Harmon, two brothers: Glen and "Duck" Cheatham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his son.
Services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
