Daleville....Resting Safe in the arms of the Lord, Wayne Dale Morgan, 64, resident of Daleville, passed away Friday at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital Anderson after a brief illness.He was born in Anderson, November 5, 1950, the son of Herman and Alma Whitson Morgan.He attended Anderson High School and worked for over 40 years at Phillips Industries as a crane operator and supervisor.He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, fishing, gardening and watching the Indianapolis Colts.He was a member of the Eagles of Muncie and was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 5 sisters.Survivors are his wife: Deborah Lynn (Haines) of Daleville, daughters: Kathryn Dodge (Jeremy May) of Hartford City and Pamela Treadway (James) of Daleville, 3 grandchildren: Devan (Aubrey) and Noah Dodge and Dallas Treadway and one great grandchild on the way: Doltan.Also surviving are three sisters: Janet and Kay Morgan and Ruth Turney, nieces and nephews and Cousins.A celebration of Wayne's life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 at Ballard & Sons, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Rev. Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, east of Daleville.Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the service.Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.Online Guestbook at:
