Daleville...Walter Clarence Kendall, 92, resident of Daleville, passed away Monday evening at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Muncie.He was born in Cambridge City, Indiana, June 8, 1921, the son of Walter and Lola Hormel Kendall.He was a graduate of New Lisbon High School and retired in 1975 from Dana Corporation in New Castle. He began his employment there in 1941.He was a US Army Veteran of WW 2 surving as a surgical technician from 1943-1946 in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and lived in Blountsville, Mooreland, Mount Summit and Middletown and Daleville.Was a part time minister of the Gospel for many years and loved to fish, play golf and walk.Survivors are his children: Judith Pierce (David) of Daleville, Naomi McLaren (Robert) of Daleville, and Stephen Kendall (Barbara) of Oakland, TN, Brother and Sister in law: George and Jane Hale, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.He is also survived by his loyal companion and best friend, his dog: Buddy.He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years: Jane Elizabeth Kendall, his parents: Walter and Lola Kendall, daughter: Janet Morris, son: Kenneth Bruce Kendall, granddaughters: Julianne Morris and JoEllen Morris, grandson: Jason Geiling, sisters: Maxine Severe and Irene Gates, and brothers: George and Wilbur Kendall.A celebration of life will be conducted at 10:00 am, on Saturday at Ballard & Sons, 8212 South Walnut, Daleville, with Rev.
