Walter Enoch Craig, 91, of Middletown passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at his residence. He was born on January 7, 1933, a son to the late William and Lavonn (Toller) Craig.
Walter attended Anderson High School. He retired from Delco Remy in 1982. Walter and his wife, Janice farmed for over 60 years and was a member of the Eastview Nazarene Church. He enjoyed family softball games, camping and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Janice Craig; children, Debbie Craig, Connie (Andrew) Craig-Short, Steve (Joni) Craig, Deb “Cory” Corson; grandchildren, Lesley (Troy) McKee, Christopher (Sarah) Craig; great grandchildren, Lilly and Josie Patterson, Warren, Will and Zeke Craig; sister-in-law, Judy Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Wilbur, Earl, Delmar and Richard Craig; sisters, Alma Montgomery, Helen Baer and Joan Chambers.
Services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Ron Karkosky. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service on Friday.
