Vivian Jean Shelton

Middletown....Jean Shelton, 80. resident of Middletown, passed away October 28, 2020 at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Campton, Kentucky, December 1, 1939, the daughter of Hilliard Mort Barker and Fannie Smith Childers. She had been a homemaker her entire life and enjoyed bowling and the Red Hat Society. She was a member of the Mounds Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie, her parents, a son, Stan Shelton, several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Donald Shelton (Debbie) of Mechanicsburg, Cathy Emswiller of Anderson and Bob Shelton (Pam) of Jackson, KY, a daughter-in-law, Kim Shelton of Pendleton, 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Middletown Nursing Center for their great care.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 31st at Miller Cemetery at 3:00 PM
Memorials may be made to the Mounds Baptist Church.
