Daleville...Vivian Elizabeth Petty, 91, resident of Daleville passed away at her residence on July 5, 2019.
She was born in Elnora, Indiana, October 18, 1922, the daughter of Calvin B and Lillian Hinkle Petty. She was a graduate of Elnora High School and retired from RCA in Indianapolis.
She served in the US Navy in WW 2 and Korea and was a 50 year member of the American Legion. She attended the Daleville United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Paul Petty and Max Petty, sisters Alice Cunningham and Fern Petty.
She is survived by her brother: Leon Petty (Harriett) of Lebanon and sister: Joyce Robare of Lakeland, FL, a sister in law: Ann Petty of Lakeland, FL.,several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews..
Military honors will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Marion National Cemetery.
