Middletown...Vivian Maxine (Snyder) Hanson, 95, resident of Middletown, passed away April 29, 2015 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.She was born in Anderson (Valley Grove area), on October 21, 1919 the daughter of Charles Glenn and Mary Johns Hughston Snyder.She was a graduate of Anderson High School and a member of the Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren. She was active in the Women's Fellowship of the church.She loved sewing and was active with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Survivors are three children: Mary Katherine Corn (Charles), James E. ""Jim"" Hanson (Deanna Faye) and Michael Alan Hanson (Betty Carol) all of Middletown, 7 grandchildren: Edward E. Hanson (Loli Guding) of Elgin, IL, Jane Greene (Adam) of Indianapolis, Julie Rider (Mark Medley) and Libby Powell (Jim) both of Middletown, Sandi Kemerly (Shane Elam) of Muncie, Bruce Alan Hanson (Tina) of Middletown and Randall Jay Corn (Sheila) of Pendleton, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: James A. Hanson in 1989, and a brother: Jack C. Snyder.A Celebration of Vivian's life will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at Ballard and Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Dennis Hilton officiating.Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery.Friends may call on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren.Online Guestbook at:
