Middletown...Virginia B. Rector, 91 resident of Middletown passed away on April 30, 2018.
She was born in Anderson, Indiana, January 7, 1927, the daughter of Rev. Arthur Badgley and Naomi Beamish Badgley.
She attended Anderson High School. She was a member of the First Evangelistic Church in Dalton, GA. She very much enjoyed ceramics.
She was preceded in death her parents, siblings; Robert Badgley, Dorothy Dunn, Rev. Richard Badgley, Gilbert "Pete" Badgley, Bill Badgley and son-in-law Bart Canaday.
Survivors are her husband of 75 years, Charles R. Rector, her two daughters: Pamela Kay Day (Thomas) of Florida, Sandy Lee Canaday of Middletown, Son: Timothy Charles Rector (Cathy) of New Castle, Sister: Betty Page of Anderson, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, five great great grand children.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12-2 p.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home 118 S. 5th Street Middletown, IN, 47356.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday following visitation.
