Middletown...Virgil ""Bud"" Fattic, 85, resident of Middletown, died Friday at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson after a short illness. He was born April 6, 1917 in Middletown, the son of Anderson and Louella Scothorn Fattic and was a lifelong resident. He worked for over 32 years as a utility-man at Delco Remy in Anderson.He was a member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, the UAW Local 662 and the Middletown Conservation Club.Survivors include his wife: Georgia ""Byrer"" of Middletown, Sons: Jim (Rexanne)Fattic of Middletown and Bill (Rosalee) Fattic of Shelbyville, 1 daughter: Kathie (David) Nichols of Middletown, Step sons: Russ Byrer of Middletown and Jim Byrer of Phoenix, AZ, 1 twin sister: Virginia Milhaupt of New Port Richey, FL, 1 brother: Leonard Fattic of Middletown, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Willard and Everett Fattic and 1 sister: Letha Fattic.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev. Kenneth Foust and Rev.
