Middletown....Violet Louise (Carpenter) Tincher, 84, resident of Middletown, passed away June 24, 2015 at her residence.She was born in Linton, Indiana, October 18, 1930, the daughter of Osman and Lola Rardin Carpenter.She attended Linton (Stockton) High School and worked part time at the Shenandoah School Cafeteria.She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Middletown and enjoyed fishing and all types of angels.Survivors are her husband: Donald of Middletown whom she married on May 1, 1948, two children: Paula Mullin (Michael) of Middletown and Michael Tincher (Connie) of Anderson, 1 sister: Hildred Bernice Sullivan of Linton and 2 grandchildren: Kimberly Dawn Fites of Middletown and Jamie Renee Berryman of Anderson, 3 great grandchildren; Madison Taylor Fites, Devin Michael Mullin and Alexis Isabell Hollenbeck, 1 great, great grandchild: Claira Mullin.A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.Online Guestbook at:
