Muncie...Vera Olive. Cantrell, 89, was called home to be her Lord and Savior at Muncie Healthcare and Rehabilitation after a lengthy illness.She was born in Sharp County, Arkansas, April 6, 1917, the daughter of Rufus and Lollie Wadsworth Milligan.She married Alvin Fletcher Cantrell, December 25, 1935 and they moved to the Anderson area in 1945.She retired in 1975 from Delco Remy in Anderson after 30 years of service.She was a 30 year member of the Mount View Baptist Church of Cave City, AR and attended the Landmark Baptist Church of Anderson.She was a member of UAW Local 662 and loved gardening and going to her grandsons baseball games.She was preceded in death by her husband: Alvin F. Cantrell, her parents, several brothers and several sisters.She leaves to cherish her memory 2 sons: Manuel (Toni) Cantrell of Anderson and Tom (Beverly) Cantrell of Daleville, 4 grandsons: Dennis (Marjorie) Cantrell of Bolingbrook, IL, Terry (Lisa) Cantrell of Goldsboro, NC, Matthew Cantrell of Daleville and Michael Cantrell of Muncie, 4 great grandchildren: Angie Wanner, Corey Cantrell and Elijah and Noah Cantrell, Great great grandchild: Brandon Wanner.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Gary Woodring officiating.Friends may call on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 at Mt.
