Middletown...Vera Marie (Babos) Bane, 89, resident of Middletown, passed away January 26, 2010 at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, February 14, 1920, the daughter of Joseph and Pearl (Peterson) Babos.She was a 1938 graduate of Connersville High School and retired from Anchor Hocking as a glass worker.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph M. Bane and a sister: Virginia M. Babos.She is survived by her stepchildren: Mary Maxine (Gene) Williams and Geraldine (Joe) Peters of Middletown and Glenn (Beverly) Bane of Daleville, 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.Graveside services are Thursday at 2:00 PM at Dale Cemetery in Connersville with Rev.
