Velve Irene Feller

Irene Feller, 86 of Chesterfield passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Community Hospital of Anderson. She was born on August 24, 1937 to the late Atley and Bonnie Moore.
Irene was a class of 1955 Daleville High School graduate, where she was also a prom queen and a proud cheerleader. With God’s grace she was a caretaker for many especially her family. She loved watching her grandson race. Irene enjoyed her monthly lunches with family, fishing and traveling to Okeechobee Florida for the winters and loved selling at flea markets. Irene was always prepared, never put anyone out and never complained. She always showed love and was very giving. Irene was also involved in her church and never missed tithing. She loved her long walks.
She is survived by her daughters, Teri VanAlst and Sherry (Joe) Moore and Lexy Feller; grandchildren, Holli (Josh) Funk, Greg (Christi) VanAlst, Matt (Kristin) VanAlst; great grandchildren, Riley (her side kick), Theodore, Aiden, Levi, Cadence, Eliza, Ryder, Easton, Colton and Hailey; 2 sisters, Lucy (Jack) Craig and Charlotte Faulds; brother, Gene (Claudette) Moore; sister-in-law, Tootie Moore and multiple fur grandbabies.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Feller; son, Mike Feller; son-in-law, Bruce VanAlst; sisters, Pernia, Ruby, Myrtle, Novella; brother, Leland; brothers-in-law, Larry and Sam and sister-in-law, Susie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown, IN. Concluding the visitation, a cremation will follow at a later date.
