Grafton, VA....Veleta McShurley, 100, former Henry County native, passed away in Grafton, Virginia on Saturday, June 7, 2003.She had lived in Yorktown, Virginia and had been a longtime resident of the Sulphur Springs area. She was preceded in death by her husband Scott McShurley and and a daughter: Judith Davis.She is survived by her son-in-law: Charles R. Davis, Jr., of Yorktown, VA, 2 grandchildren: Amy Davis Cooper of Birmingham, AL, and Scot B. DAvis of New Kent County, VA, 2 great grandsons: Will Cooper and Drew Davis.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Miller Cemetery in Middletown with Rev.
