Daleville...Thomas E. Skinner, 65, resident of Daleville, passed away January 14, 2009 at his home of forty years after an extended illness.He was born in Washington, PA, the son of John L. and Leona M. Phillips Skinner.He retired from Marion Fisher Body where he had been a pipefitter but had worked at several General Motors Plants for over 25 years.He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving 4 1/2 years.He was a member of the Circle Track Associates, the UAW and the Daleville/Salem Township Fire Department for over 20 years.Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Sandy (Huffman) Skinner of Daleville, sons: Andy (Deann) and Rusty (Ellen) Skinner of Daleville, 5 grandchildren: Samantha and Robert Thumpston, Andrew II, Tyler, and Justin Skinner, 1 brother: John (Clara) Skinner of San Antonio, TX and 1 sister: Judy (Charlie) Pugsley of Daleville, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville, with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, east of Daleville.Friends may call at the Daleville Chapel on Friday from 2-8PM and one hour before the services on Saturday.Memorials may be made to the Delaware County Little Red Door.Online Guestbook at:
