McMinnville, TN....Thomas Wheatley Giles, 82, resident of Beach Grove Tennessee, died Wednesday morning at NHC Healthcare Center in McMinnville after an extended illness.He was born September 9, 1920 the sons of Alva and Armiddy Hovis Giles. He was a former Daleville resident and had worked at Gayle-Shores Construction retiring in 1982. He moved from Daleville to Tennessee in 1995.He had been preceded in death by his wife Ernestine Simons in 1994.Survivors are 3 sons: Charles (Margaret) Giles of Ft. Smith Arkansas, Thomas W. (Sandi) Giles, Jr. of Beech Grove, TN, and Bernard (Marianne) Giles of Fruitport, MI, 1 daughter: Bettie (Dan) Dunny of White Lake, MI, 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville, with Rev. Gary McManus officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
