Theodore Major, 61 of Daleville IN, passed away on January 9, 2023 unexpectedly at his residence. He was born on February 15, 1961 in Detroit, MI a son to the late Leonard and Clara Major.
Teddy was a sweet compassionate person, honest, hardworking and put everyone before himself. He was funny and could make you laugh. “A man of soul so much of it that he went out and bought a Kia Soul” son Austin Feldhausen. He loved to eat this was a passion.
Anyone that knew Teddy knew he loved music. “For the King of Moe-Town music Thank You for the effort you put forward in life. May you Rest in Peace” son Camryn Comer.
A man that loved so much, he took in boys that were not his own. “We may not have been fully blooded, but for my dad to take us in at a young age and do what was needed to be done for his family. That’s what a man is and that’s what my dad did. We will always love you dad.” Son Tyler Comer.
Everyone that knew this man knew that his little girl was his everything. “Thank you, dad, for being there for me. All the time no matter what. You’re always going to be my helicopter dad. I know you’re always going to be watching from above. I know you’re going to be my angel and behind me through the rest of my life. Fly High! Dad, I Love You” Daughter Elysa Major
Ted will be greatly missed by everyone. No matter what kind of day he was having he would always try to bring joy to others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, Tom Major.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Starla Major; daughter, Elysa Major; sons, Austin Feldhausen, Tyler Comer and Camryn Comer; His PrideMark family, brothers, John and Mike; Sisters, Gail, Deborah, Sharon, Carol and Angie; plenty of nieces, nephews and a grand baby; his in laws, Erven and Rita Strange.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville, IN with Pastor Aston Chambers officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
