Daleville...Thelma Lee Blair, 81, resident of Daleville, died early Tuesday morning at Hancock County Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.She was born in Fentress County, Tennessee, October 4, 1923, the daughter of Jackson and Bertha (Brannon) Turner.She had been a homemaker most of her life and was preceded in death by her husband: Archie C. Blair in 2001, 4 brothers and 1 sister.Survivors include 3 sons: Jerry D. Blair (Jackie) of Daleville, Johnnie R. Blair (Linda) of Muncie, and Paul T. Blair (Karen) of Pendleton, 1 daughter: Connie Sue Blair of Muncie, 1 sister: Freda Ankenbruck of Ft. Wayne and 3 sister-in-laws, 9 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut St., Daleville, with Pastors Dennis Hilton and Paul Trent officiating.Graveside Services will be held at Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City, IN at 3:00 PM on Thursday.Friends may call at the funeral home in Daleville on Wednesday from 5-8 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Gideons.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
