Indianapolis....Terry Allen Riggs, 53, resident of Indianapolis, passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident near Indianapolis.He was born in Anderson, July 13, 1961, the son of Larry and Shirley June Emswiller Riggs.He was a graduate of Madison Heights High School and attended most of his schooling at Shenandoah.He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a nephew: Joshua Caine Sears.He is survived by his wife: Barbara Joe (Emerson) of Indianapolis, his parents, 3 children: Mary Miranda Jimenez (Joey) of Alexandria and Kindra Elizabeth Cummins (Brian) of Alexandria and Chris Harber (Jody) of Avon, grandchildren: Blake Smith, Mathew Riggs-Jimenez, Amelia Jimenez, Annabelle Cummins, Elizabeth Cummins, Katelynn Harber and one expected in September, 1 brother: Tim Riggs of Anderson and 1 sister: Tammy LeAnn Sears (Michael Caine) of Middletown, nieces and nephews and a dog: Omar.A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow at Springport Cemetery.Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 at the funeral home.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Terry with family and friends.Memorials may be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
