Tamera "Tammy" Lynn Doto (Melton), 64, of Middletown, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on March 16, 1958 as the first daughter of Robert and Sue (Chapman) Melton.
Tammy was a 1976 graduate of Daleville High School. She dedicated her life to children's education. Tammy worked at "The Ark Daycare and Preschool" for over 30 years at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene. Her heart had endless love for children and animals. She loved spending time with her friends and family.
Tammy is survived by many family and friends.
A special thank you to the staff of Community Hospital of Anderson and Kindred Hospice for helping her through her battle with brain cancer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Chaplain David Mills officiating at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to The Ark Daycare located at 698 N. 5th Street, Middletown, Indiana 47356. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
