Middletown...Susan Kay Collins, 68, resident of Middletown, passes away May 7, 2018 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.
She was born in Anderson, October 10, 1949 the daughter of Ed and Pat Grieves Hedgecraft. She had worked for several years at Sam Pierce Chevrolet in the Human Resources Department in Daleville. She was a 1967 graduate of Anderson High School.
She had lived in Middletown for over 35 years and was a Anderson VFW Auxiliary member. she attended the New Horizons United Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband: Bill of Middletown, 2 children: Dorea Johnston (Dewayne) of Thompson Station, TN and Josh French (Mindy) of Portland, OR, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother: Steve Hedgecraft (Nancy) of Anderson, 1 sister: Pam Lackey (Steve) of Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Linda Kimbrell.

Services will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C. Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral Home.
