Middletown...Steven Allen ""Hippy"" Hipskind, 65, resident of Middletown, passed away Tuesday morning at St. Vincent's Heart Center in Indianapolis.He was born in Anderson, November 13, 1945, the son of Robert Leone and Mary Lou Fox Hipskind.He was a 1964 graduate of Middletown High School and retired from General Motors.He was a member of UAW 663 and lived in Middletown most of his life.Survivors include his wife: Vickie (Bennett) of Middletown, Children: Chad Allen (Liz)Hipskind of South Berwick, ME, Lori Hipskind (Mark Ringler) of Romeo, MI. Heather Hipskind of Middletown, James Thrush of Middletown, and Raymond Thrush (Sarah) of Chesterfield, 1 sister: Rosemary Hipskind Moore (Damon) of Muncie, grandchildfren: Emily, Cameron, Kya, Lillian and Isabella Thrush, his mother-in-law: Betty Bennett of Ingalls.He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Robert Lee Hipskind, father-in-law: James Clifford Bennett.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
