Middletown...Stephen K. Fields, 77, resident of Middletown passed away June 30, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in New Castle, April 5, 1943, the son of Noble H. and Rebecca Clensy Fields.
He was a 1961 graduate of Middletown High School and was a stand - out athlete for the Mighty Cossacks Basketball teams.
He retired from General Motors in 2000 and had worked as director of engineering in Mississippi at the GM Plant.
He was a graduate of General Motors Institute and a member of the Middletown American Legion. He coached little league and was President for several years.
He loved fishing and golfing.
Survivors are his wife, Penny Ann (Knipp) of Middletown,, daughter, Desiree Forster (Chris) of Middletown, step son, Steven Fatout (Dawn) of Avon, grandchildren, Tyler Stephen Pugsley (Michelle) of Middletown, Kelsey Jo Buck (Seth) of Middletown and Jordan Jacob Fatout of Avon., great grandchildren, Brantley and Benson Buck, sister, Kathy Williams of Middletown, several nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his dog, Henry.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Hans Fields.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday July 6, 2020 at 5:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.
Friends may call from 2-5 on Monday at the funeral home.
CDC guidelines of social distancing, handwashing , and masks are suggested.
