Sherry L. Fields, 81, of Middletown passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at her residence. She was born on July 27, 1941 in Anderson, IN, a daughter of the late Harl John and Juanita Maxine (Songer) Franklin.
The most important aspect of Sherry’s life was her family; they meant everything to her. Sherry also loved her Lord and Savior and was a twenty plus year member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, where she was very active over the years. Something else very dear to Sherry’s heart was her business, Sherry Fields Reality, located in Middletown. She owned and operated her local business for 40 years. She was a member of the NAR-National Association of Realtors and MIBOR-Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors. Sherry was also a member of the Middletown American Legion Post #216; she was involved in the Ladies Auxiliary, and you could find her at the Legion every Wednesday night playing Euchre. Every Tuesday, she could be found at the Senior luncheon. Sherry was also a lover of animals.
Sherry is survived by her children, Kevin Scott (Gena) Starks of Pendleton, Lora (Charlie) Hildreth of Gaston, Michael Lewis (Robin) Starks of Middletown; grandchildren, Holly (Nathan) Scott of Selma, Kellie (Stephen) Rowell of Pendleton, Jessica (Adam) Loos of Noblesville, Betsy (Dylan) Craver of Gaston, Grant, Jordan and Peyton Starks all of Middletown; great grandchildren, Kinley, Allie, Melania , Charlie, RosaLee, Dominic, Hunter and Reagan; sister, Nila (James) Harrington of Anderson; brother, Dean (Cindy) Franklin of Anderson; nieces, Tari Franklin of Anderson; nephews, Dean William Franklin of Anderson, Ron (Claire) Franklin of Anderson; cousin, Steven (Diane) Songer of Terre Haute.
In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie and Leslie Franklin.
Services will be held at 11:00am Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene with Marty Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00pm-8:00pm at the church.
