Shawn Renee' Carnes-Keller

Shawn Renee’ Carnes-Keller, 64, of Middletown passed away Sunday May 7, 2023 at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born on September 10, 1958 in Anderson to the late Cordell Carnes and Ruth Joan (Painter) Campbell.

She was a graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and Ball State University. Shawn received her Masters Degree in Special Education. She retired from Anderson Community Schools 10th Street Elementary. Shawn was an honest and loyal woman that always took care of her family. She loved being in the pool, music, cooking, interior decorating, gardening and taking care of her flowers.

Shawn is survived by her husband, Kreston Keller; step son Christopher Keller; grandson Christopher Jr.; brother, Brian Carnes; brothers-in-law, Kyle Keller and Stacey Smith; mother-in-law, Joyce Smith; nephews, Jason (Tasha) Carnes, Devan (Dani) Carnes, Blake Carnes, Kasey Andrews, Josh Andrews; niece, Nichole Hinkley; great nephews, Jason Eljah and Noah; great nieces, Lexie, Lena, Alexi, Kaylee and Annabel; special friends, Connie, Jenny and Sue.

In addition to her parents Shawn is preceded in death by her sister, Andrea Carnes.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 pm on Friday May 12, 2023 at Miller Cemetery in Middletown.
