New Castle...Sharon Sue ""Sudy"" Beavers Thomas, 67, resident of rural New Castle, passed away at Ball Memorial Hospital on Sunday evening.She was born September 29, 1942 to Millard H. and Doris Harter Beavers, Sr..She was a 1960 graduate of Knightstown High School.She had been a secretary for Chapmin-Hayworth Insurance of New Castlem and EMT Ambulance service in Muncie.She had worked at Linda's Retaurant and Murphy's as a cook in New Castle, and operated Sudy's Beauty Shop from her home.She had attended the Cadiz Friends Church, Kennard Friends Church and the Sulphur Springs Christian Church.Survivors include her husband of 49 years: Martin of New Castle, children: Becky Roberts (Dan) of New Castle, Larry Michael Thomas (Lori) of Losantville, Richard A. Thomas (Cary) of New Castle and Willim C. Thomas (Cheryl) of New Castle, 8 grandchildren and 5 1/2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Don Beavers of Spiceland and Miller Beavers of Kennard, several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law: Norma Beavers of Kennard.She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother: John.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at the Cadiz Friends Church on State Road 38 in Cadiz with Rev. Amos Taylor officiating assisted by Rev.
