Chesterfield...Scott Arlen Spangler, 57, resident of Chesterfield. passed away at his residence on February 28, 2014.He was born in Anderson, October 23, 1956, the son of Patricia and Richard Spangler.He enjoyed watching NASCAR, Colts Football and the Indiana Pacers.He is survived by two daughters: Melissa Riddle of Anderson and Rachel (Jay) Stringfield of Crawfordsville, father: Richard Spangler of Daleville, 2 brothers: Matt (Karen) Spangler and Rod (Meg) Spangler, 3 sisters: Stephanie (Randy) Painter, Lora (David) Osborne and Kathy (Jim) Cooper, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and 1 Uncle and Aunt: Dick and Betty Gooding, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother: Patricia Spangler.Celebration services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Anderson Center.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com and Facebook/Ballard and Sons, Life Celebrations, Funerals, Counseling and Cremation.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Schott Spangler with family and friends.
