Sarellen S. Wools

Middletown....Sarellen S. (Stum) Wools, 83, former Middletown resident, passed away February 2, 2018 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis.She was born in Anderson, July 5, 1934 the daughter of Charles R. and Lena Stum.She was a graduate of Middletown High School and retired from General Motors after 34 years of services in 1988.She loved taking care of her family and children, especially her grandkids, loved recipes, baking, and crochet.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard (Dick), and infant sons Jerry and Terry.Survivors are her children: Lisa McVicker (Hugh) of Indianapolis and Lorri Jacobs (Ryan) of Anderson, grandchildren: Brittney McVicker, Abigail an Zachary Jacobs, sisters: Becky Tompkins, Carolyn Fattic and brother: Bob Stum.A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.
