Muncie...Sandra ""Sandy"" Mers, 65, resident of Muncie, passed away July 10, 2006 at her residence unexpectedly.She was born in Muncie, December 5, 1940, the daughter of Paul and Margaret Parrish Knecht.She had operated a daycare in Muncie for over 30 years and was a graduate of Muncie Central High School.She was a member of Union Chapel Ministries.Survivors are 3 sons: Jeffrey (Stephanie) Neata of Fishers, Paul (Jerilyn) Neata of Yorktown, and Greg (Joy) Beghtel of Fishers, 2 daughters: Shelly (Don) Perkins of Noblesville and Teresa (Butch) Powell of Muncie, 11 grandchildren: Danielle, Paige and Blake Neata of Fishers, Tom, Jerry, and Joey Neata of Yorktown, Lila Beghtel of Fishers, Ellie and Abby Perkins of Noblesville and Trey and Ashlie Powell of Muncie, 1 sister: Lee Ann Bryant of Florida, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Oneighty Ministries auditorium, 4622 North Broadway, Muncie with Rev.
