Ruth Emma TaylorDied at the Age of 78Born - 2/28/38 at home in Middletown Indiana, IN and died at home in Middletown Indiana 12/6/16.Graduated from Cadiz High School in the class of 1956.She retired from the V.A. Hospital in Indianapolis, In. as a Nursing Assistant.Her life was spent taking care of family, friends, and others all the way to her last days. Not chasing after fame and fortune nor desiring any glory, she was perfectly content pleasing others from behind the scenes. Because of the love for her country, there has always been a special spot in her heart for the veterans and their cause. Giving didn't stop there, as countless charities received her generous donations and her furry animal friends never went without a treat.Thank you God for our Ruthie, her genuine and pure loving heart and all the wonderful things she shared with us.She is survived by; brother Bill Taylor; brother in-law Bill Miller; nephews Mike (Motoko) Hamm and David (Jodi) Hamm of Middletown, IN; Niece Laura Stephens of Kansas City Mo; Great Nephews and Niece; Luke (Amanda) Hamm, Dylan (Kirstyn) Hamm, Sage Hamm, Sai Hamm.She was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Beatrix (Akers) Taylor, Sisters Madeline (Pat) Miller, Elizabeth (Betty) Delon, and Mary Royer, and brother David Taylor.A Celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Marty Ballard officiating.Cremation will followFriends may call from 2-4 PM at the funeral home on Saturday.Online Guestbook at:
