Ruth L. Stilley

Ft. Wayne...Ruth L. Stilley, 80, former Middletown resident, passed away November 6, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN.She was born in Normal, Ill., the daughter of Ralph and Henrietta Cunliffe Hargis.She was a 1948 graduate of Normall High School and retired from New Castle Engineering in 1991.She had also been a foster grandparent for many years.Survivors include 1 son: Michael (Marilyn) Horan of Ft. Wayne, 2 daughters: Kathleen (Jeff) Kirk of Decatur and Sue Horan of Middletown, 1 step daughter: Jan Mang of Carey, Ill., 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband: Hank Stilley in 2008.Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with family members officiating.Friends may call one hour before the services.Memorials may be made to the Foster Grandparent Program of Henry County.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
