Anderson......Ruth Alice (Kidd) Robinette, 94, resident of Anderson passed away early December 28, 2012 at Community Hospital in Anderson after a brief illness.She was born in Middletown, October 15, 1918, the daughter of George Oliver and Bertha Fosnot Scott.She was a 1936 graduate of Daleville High School and retired from Delco Remy in 1975 after 30 years working in the Horn and Harness Department.She has lived in Anderson her entire life.She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Daleville #568, Union Chapel Church of Summitville and The Chesterfield Christian Church. She was a member of UAW 662.She had been preceded in death by her husbands: William Kidd in 1969 and Gerald Robinette and a daughter: Sandra K.Kidd in 2003 sisters: Hilda Marie Sutton and Dorothy Helen Rushton and 1 brother: Rex Calvin Scott.Survivors include nieces and nephews: William (Max) Kennedy of Wilkinson, Kathleen (Howard) Willis of Sulphur Springs, Pauline (Richard) Jones of Indianapolis, May Alice (Darl) Collins of Markleville, Kenneth Rushton (Carolyn) of Glenwood, Glenn Scott (Joyce) of Anderson, Aleta Shoemaker (Clarence) of Indianapolis, Joyce Trost (Rick) of Indianapolis, Linda (Larry) Stewart of Yorktown, Nancy Burton of Florida, Dianna Smith of Kentucky, Kenneth Smith of Dover, DE, Connie (Charles) Lucarelli of New Jersey and John (Kathy) Palan of New Jersey, Janet Maimone of Arizona, Nancy (Everett) Gobble of FL, Tom Lott of Arizona, Donald Barnes of Arizona, Robert Kidd, Jr. of Indianapolis and Barbara Vandivier of Ohio.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street in Daleiville with Rev. Mike Thompson officiating.
