Chesterfield...Ruth Marie (Jackson) Kitterman, 84, resident of Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield, passed away at the nursing home on Saturday evening.She was born in Daleville, July 15, 1920, the daughter of Walter and Vita Coffman Jackson.She had lived in the Daleville area all of her life and retired from the Daleville Schools Cafeteria after 16 years of service. She was a member of the Bethany Christian Church in Anderson.She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas H. Kitterman in 2001.Survivors include 2 daughters: Lucretia (Ron) Clidence of Anderson and Joan Kitterman of Marion, 2 grandchildren: Brandon (Jessica) Clidence of Daleville and Bradley Clidence of Daleville, 2 great grandchildren: Kaylee Clidence of Daleville and Caleb Thomas Clidence of Daleville, 1 brother: Paul (Mildred) Jackson of Daleville and sister-in-law: Helen Jackson of Dalevile as well as brother-in-law: Hallie Wools of Illinois, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville, with Pastor Kent Stookey officiating.Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery in Daleville.Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Christian Church.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
