Ruth E. Huff, 79, a resident of Daleville passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at her home. She was born December 16, 1942 in Muncie, IN to the late John and Eva (Sarah) Walker.
Ruth retired from Borg-Warner Corp in in 2001 after 20 years of service. She was previously employed at the Anderson Post Office and Welfare Dept., Indiana Bell and Big R Farm Store. A member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Middletown, Ruth enjoyed shopping. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed traveling to Wyoming, South Dakota and Tennessee. A very devoted grandmother, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 16 years: Doug Huff; three children: Phillip (Sara) Holden, Brian Holden and Kelly Holden; two step-grandchildren: Angelina McDonald and Sabina (John) Noel; grandchildren: Kiely., Kristin, Phillip David, Tyler, Taylor, Haley, Stevie and Sadie; great-grandchildren: Kyla, Krosley, Kadience, Amelia, Case, Olive, Natalie and Maeve; step grand-children: Trista, Taylor, Jonathon and Alyssa; step great-grandchildren: Aksel and Tobias James; brothers: Art and Donald Walker; sister: Joyce Garvey; a niece whom she helped raise: Brenda Jean Beasley;
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by two infant children: Baron Ace and Leanna Dee Holden; brothers: Joseph, Larry and Kenny Walker; two sisters: Gloria and Phyllis.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Tom Wiles officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 22 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Legion, 450 N. 10th St. Middletown, IN 47356.
