Ruth Joan Campbell

Indianapolis.....Ruth Joan (Painter) Campbell, 81, resident of Indianapolis, passed away on January 28, 2019 at Rosegate Commons in Indianapolis.
She was born in Anderson, June 2, 1937, the daughter of Paul and Agnus Bell Painter. She was a 1955 graduate of Middletown High School and received her BA, MA and PHD in Teaching and Psychology from Ball State University. she was owner of Celebration Supply for many years and was known for her work in behavioral modification teaching in schools for special needs.
Survivors are a son: Brian Carnes (Susan) of Indianapolis, daughters: Shawn Keller (Kraston) and Andrea Johnson, grandchildren: Jason (Tasha), Blake, Devan, and Nicole Carnes, great grandchildren, Lexie, Jason and Lena G. Carnes.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
