Middletown...Ruth Ellen (Ford) Anderson, 84, resident of Middletown, passed away August 25, 2006, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.She was born in Anderson, November 20, 1921, the daughter of James and Lula Hurlock Ford.She had worked for many years for Dr. Ted S. Doles MD in Middletown and Muncie beginning in 1969.She was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church and the Indiana Unit of the Wally Byam Carivan Club International. She had been hired as one of the original employees of Community Hospital in Anderson.Survivors include her husband of 59 years: John of Middletown, 2 daughters: Jeanne Blake (Charles) of Middletown, Barbara Smith (Harold) of Casa Grande, AZ, 2 sons: Carl (Karen) Anderson of Independance, KY and Rex (Sheila) Anderson of Logansport, 1 brother Billy Ford of Pendleton, grandchildren: Eric (Billy Jo) Smith, Darin (Jessica) Smith, Staci (Steve) Borst, Bryan Blake, Melissa (Brian) Shields, Kimberly Hawes, Ashley Hawes, Jennifer (Brent) McDowell, Lauren Anderson, Nichole Anderson, Charles Anderson, Shelly Anderson, Brandon (Kerry) Wilson and Andrew Wilson, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Nancy Hale and Sarah Lawson, grandchildren: Jason and Heather Bemish and 1 great grandchild.Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN with Rev.
