Ruby F. Satterly

Middletown...Ruby F. Satterly, 76, former Sulphur Springs resident, passed away Sunday at the home of her son in Plainfield.She was born in Anderson County, Kentucky, September 7, 1927, the daughter of L.P. Gritton and Bessie Dennis.She attended High School in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and had lived in the Middletown/Sulphur Springs area since 1969.She was a member of the Middletown Order of the Eastern Star #110, the Sulphur Springs United Church of Christ where she was a deaconess of the church and an active mentor to many teenagers of the area.She was preceded in death by her husband: Sherman in 1996.Survivors include her son: Eddie (Diana) Satterly of Plainfield, 1 brother: Hollis (Linda) Gritton of Burlington, KY, grandson: Eddie Satterly Jr. of Seattle, WA and granddaughter: Amy Satterly of Plainfield, 3 great grandchildren: Dustin, Nik, and Hailey Satterly of Plainfield.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at the Sulphur Springs United Church of Christ with Rev.
