Ronald ""Beaver"" Stevens

Middletown....Ronald William ""Beaver"" Stevens, 65, resident of Middletown passed away Monday evening at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.He was born in Anderson, the son of William and Eunice Stevens.He was a 1966 graduate of Middletown High School and played several sports for the Cossacks including basketball.He retried from Chrysler Corporation in 2003 after 30 years of service.He was a member of the Middletown Lodge F & AM, former Jaycee member, was active in coaching Little League football and was a member of the Anderson Packers semi-pro football team.He loved to play softball and participated in many leagues and on many teams.Survivors include his wife: Amanda (Hess) of Middletown, children: Brent (Verinda) of Middletown and Sonya ""Sonnie"" Stevens of Anderson, grandchildren: Justin, Cassie and Alivia, and 1 great grandchild: Eva, a sister: Barb Stevens of Middletown.He was preceded in death by his parents.Celebration services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call on Thursday from 4-9 with Masonic services at 8:00 PM.Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.Online guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com and Facebook/Ballard and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Beaver Stevens with family and friends.
