Ronald ""Ron"" Stafford

Daleville....Ronald ""Ron"" Stafford, 78, resident of Daleville passed away at his residence in Daleville on January 23, 2018 surrounded by his family after a long battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. He fought with determination and patience.He was born in Muncie, Indiana, August 5, 1939, the son of Kenneth Otto and hazel Iona Huffman Stafford. He was a graduate of Cowan High School (1957) and was self employed for 52 years at Kenny's Floor Coverings. He began there as a teenager working with his father and became owner retiring in 2009.He was a member of the Daleville Christian Church where he had been a deacon.He enjoyed golf, coin collecting, photography, woodworking, camping and traveling.Survivors include his wife: Linnet (Guenthenspberger) of Daleville, children: Pete (Vicki Burleson) Stafford of Muncie, Michael Stafford of Venice, FL, Ann (Jerry) Golden of Daleville, Amy (Rick) Jones of Daleville, Dawn (Manuel) Ramirez of Elkhart and Wendy Stafford of Muncie, grandchildren: Marcy Morgan, Stephanie (Blake) Horner, Steven Jones, Cory Jones, Tanner (Kathy) Stafford, Chelsea (Matt) Rigney, Isaac Stafford, Linnet Ramirez, and Noah Ramirez , 12 great grandchildren, sister; Susie (Dick) Freeman of Daleville, special brother and sister in law: Lynn and Barbara Guenthenspberger of Daleville.A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Rev.
