Ron Walcott

Ron Walcott, 81, of Middletown, passed away on November 26, 2024. He was born on June 29, 1943, in rural Hagerstown to the late Holland and Marie (Dunnington) Walcott.

He graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School. Ron retired from Perfect Circle/Dana in New Castle, as well as Grede in New Castle. He married Mary Jane Kinnett on December 7, 2004. Mary Jane preceded Ron in death on July 16, 2022.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Yergin of Middletown; son, Rich (Melinda) McGee of Carmel; brothers, Robert (Regina) Walcott of New Castle and Ralph (Virginia) Walcott of Laurinburg, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Maggie May.

Per Ron’s wishes there will be no funeral services. A private burial has taken place at Miller Cemetery in Middletown.
